Here we have a lovely, issued and combat used example of the storage case which was made specifically for the late-war Bakelite 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars.
The case itself is produced from black Presstoff material and is nicely marked with the 'cxn 4' maker code to denote production by Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie, Rathenow during 1944.
Additionally, there are also visible remains of a camouflage overpaint finish to some of the surfaces - mainly still intact to the reverse side and lid, as shown.
A super example of this rare binocular case that has definitely been there!
