Early Leitz Wetzlar 7x50 Kriegsmarine U-boat binoculars

A very nice original and extremely rare early (!) pair of the Porro II 7x50 Kriegsmarine binoculars which were produced by Leitz Wetzlar. 
 
The super clear markings on this particular pair denote issue to Nordsee forces and are of the type that saw extensive use aboard U-boats.
 
Indeed this pair come direct from a small collection of such optics out of Scotland, UK. More than likely originating from the numerous U-boats stored there and subsequently destroyed as part of Operation Deadlight. 
 
They generally remain functional, but have some delamination to the objective lens on the right-hand side. With very smooth focussing adjustments on both sides. 
 
Still a wonderful and very scarce early example - with parts produced in brass, excellent KM property markings and the leatherette coverings all intact!
