Hensoldt 10x50 Dienstglas binoculars 'bmj'

Hensoldt 10x50 Dienstglas binoculars 'bmj'

£0.00Price

A very nice set of the 10x50 so-called 'Panzer' roof prism binoculars which were produced by Hensoldt Wetzlar under the 'bmj' maker code. Indeed they were used by all branches of the Wehrmacht, but are often seen in period photos being used by Panzer crews - hence the synonymous nature of their name.

Factory finished in ordnance tan paint, this particular set still retains the vast majority of the original finish throughout to a very high degree!

As well as the maker code, they are clearly marked 10x50 alebit with the Dienstglas tag erased as was commonly carried out in Germany after the war. The blue '+' lubrication marking for suitability of use in colder climes, plus serial number, still remain fully intact however.

The optics, whilst would typically benefit from a clean, still remain usable - and they also still retain the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinding reticule clearly visible within the right-hand side.

A pair which would definitely comprise a very good, displayable set within any collection!
