A nice original example of the late-war short variant storage case made specifically for the armoured Leitz Wetzlar 7x50 Kriegsmarine U-boat binoculars.
The case is very nicely maker marked and dated 'beh 1944', along with retaining the embossed KM eagle property marking to the top of the lid. Not scratched out or defaced as often seen.
One of the rear loops is detached but could be repaired like the opposite side if desired. The case also comes fitted with a replacement, but correct style front closure strap; as well as a replacement full shoulder carry strap assembly.
