Leitz 8x60 Kriegsmarine U-boat Commander binoculars 'beh'

A very scarce original pair indeed of the Leitz 'beh' 8x60 binoculars, which were designed and issued within the Kriegsmarine exclusively to be used aboard U-Boats for their commanders! 
 
Whilst this pair have clearly 'been there', they still retain all of the rubber armour that is so often missing! The rubber also remains in good overall condition with just the typical age related wear and tear etc, as shown. 
 
As is typically the case with such Leitz 8x60 binouclars, the optics will require a full internal cleaning/overhaul having clearly never been opened since production. 
 
Overall, a highly presentable and displayable set of this far more rarely encountered 8x60 U-Boat binocular, which would make a fantastic addition to any KM display that is missing this optic!
