A very nice condition lightweight aluminium early-war era Patronenkasten 34 ammo can for the MG34/42.
This example retains the vast majority of the original factory grey-green paint finish. Additionally, all of the leather handle covers remain intact, and the closure mechanism/hinges are still fully operational.
The box is clearly maker marked and dated 'bsj 40', as well as being Waffenamt proof marked, to the lid, as shown.
