A very nice example of the early to mid-war steel Patronenkasten 41 model ammo can for the MG34/42.
This particular one retains 90%+ of the original grey-blue paint, over red oxide primer, and the original leather handle covers.
The box is also very nicely dated '1941' to the top of the lid, as shown.
