A truly excellent condition early-war era Patronenkasten 34 ammo can for the MG34/42.
This example retains nearly all of the original factory grey-green paint finish, with the typical red oxide primer also visible beneath in some areas. Additionally, all of the leather handle covers remain intact, and the closure mechanism/hinges are still fully operational.
The box is clearly maker coded/dated 'brh/40' and Waffenamt proof marked to the lid, as shown.
Very hard to upgrade an example like this in such excellent condition!
