MG34 Lafette tripod mount 'S/652 1941'

A very nice, fully functional heavy Lafette 34 tripod for the MG34 in reissue dark green paint. 
 
This particular example was produced by Metallindustrie Schönebeck A.G. - as indicated by the 'S/642' triangle code marking - during early 1941. 
 
The search-fire mechanism is maker coded '736' for Linden & Funke KG, Iserlohn, and dated 1940. It also retains its correct original first-model Überschießtafel overhead firing data plaque, made from aluminium. 
 
As is typical for an early example, the tripod is littered with plenty of Waffenamt markings to the smaller parts throughout, including a matching 'S/652' marking to the forward leg frame. 
 
The adjustment and traverse mechanisms both remain functional and it is ready to accept any MG34 to make for a wonderful display setup!
