A scarce example of the early-war Patronenkasten 15 steel ammo can for the MG34, presented in very good condition!
This particular one retains the vast majority of the original pre-war grey/green paint and is also one of the variations of this box with the 3 rivets found to the top edge (pictured).
This is a feature which is most often seen on those tins which were repurposed and used to carry the folding Kl. Waffenmeisterwerkzeug tool kit for the MG34/42.
A great example of its type indeed!
