A very rare original period wooden model as produced for and used by German Panzertruppe for the purposes of training / recognition of both friendly and enemy armoured vehicles.
The particular example on offer here is that of the Panzer 38(t). Produced mainly from wood, but with some metal parts, such as the fenders; this model most likely originates from a Panzerschule (tank school) setting as opposed to the paper models issued for construction in the field to aid ongoing recognition.
The recognition model is approximately 20cm long and 9cm tall, and the turret can be rotated / removed.
A charming thing with real character that makes for a fantastic, unique display item and talking piece!
