Here we have an absolutely stunning pre-war M30 gas mask set consisting of the canister, original carry straps, mask, spare lenses, cloth and retainer spring.
The canister retains nearly all of the original factory-applied apple green paint, and is dated 1936 to the inside of the lid alongside the early Weimar style ink proof marking.
Both of the original canvas carry straps are also still fitted, the long one of which being marked (now mostly illegible) as shown, as well as having the spare mask lenses inside the canister lid.
Overall, a truly superb example of its type, presented in fantastic condition both inside and out, that would be extremely hard to upgrade! The perfect example to display with an apple green M35 helmet, perhaps!
