RARE Zeiss 6x24 Kriegsmarine binoculars
An exceptionally rare, even potentially unique, surviving pair of pre-war era Zeiss Kriegsmarine issue 6x24 binoculars!
Quite remarkably, they are a pair purportedly saved from a scrap recycling centre here in the UK during the 1970s and have never been offered publicly on to the collector's market until now...
They are crisply inscribed with the Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo, as well as featuring the correct, early style KM property markings to the right-hand prism plate.
They even also come complete with both the original leather neck strap and ocular cover still fitted.
As to be expected with Zeiss binoculars, the optics still remain in excellent order - producing a remarkably clear, bright and sharp image that is great to use!
In addition, the KM artilery rangefinder (crosshair shape) reticule is retained internally, as shown.
An incredibly rare opportunity for any serious collector of optics and/or Kriegsmarine equipment to add this very special binocular to their own collection!
A set that even the most advanced optical collections & museums are missing!
