A US veteran bring-back set of the SF14 Scherenfernrohr trench periscope binoculars.
Finished in original wartime tan overpaint to the vast majority of the piece, this particular binocular is clearly maker marked for production by Carl Zeiss Jena.
Clearly an early / pre-war example that has gone on to see extensive wartime service - notably identified by the use of brass in its construction!
The optics remain collimated/aligned, with a crosshair aiming reticule inside - but would benefit from a full clean/service if required for serious use purposes.
Overall, a set which would definitely make for a very fine addition to any display combat related equipment!
