A very nice original pair of mid-war Zeiss 'blc' 7x50 U-boat binoculars which come direct one long-term owner.
Factory finished in a shade of yellow/green, this particular set retains much of the original paint as well as all of the period rubber armour. Interestingly, the upper sections have undergone some slight modification to enable easy access to the focal adjusters, as shown.
The fixed-focus/coated optics are excellent, and produce a very nice clear image as to be expected from Zeiss optical instruments of this quality. As such, this pair would make both a stunning display piece as well as still being a useable example!
