Zeiss 'blc' 7x50 U-boat binoculars +Benutzer

A stunning wartime used pair of mid to late-war Zeiss 'blc' coded 7x50 armoured U-boat binoculars. Each U-boat would have carried a complement of 10 of these binoculars for use on watch duties whilst surfaced.
 
Presented in completely original condition, this example comes complete with all of the rubber armour and the often elusive Bakelite Benutzer ocular cover - a guaranteed original example and not one of the modern reproductions!
 
Factory finished in the typical KM shade of yellow/green, this particular set also retains 95%+ of the textured paint finish - unique to the early production run of the 3rd model U-boat binoculars produced by Zeiss. 
 
As per usual with Zeiss binoculars of this quality, the fixed-focus and coated lens optics on this pair produce a truly stunning image that is a joy to behold.
