A very nice original wartime condition ZF41/1 model 1.5x sharpshooter's scope for the K98k rifle - complete with its original front sunshade!
This particular example of the ZF41/1 scope was produced under the German occupation of France - under the maker code 'kov', denoting manufacture by Etablissement Barbier, Benard et Turenne. The style of the lubrication marking (O) dates the production to some time during 1943.
As is actually somewhat rare, the optics on this scope remain very clear and usable! This also includes the reticule, which can still be adjusted using the central elevation dial.
As such, a great display piece and/or indeed a usable item as it is!
